The Alliance of Therapy Specialists, Inc has been serving the Denver metro area and surrounding counties for
16 years with a staff of approximately 55, including office support staff, OT, PT, SLP and feeding specialists.
Although we specialize in pediatrics, our youngest client is 7 days old and our oldest is 93.
We work with all types of etiologies and agencies, including insurance (Aetna,Sloanas Lake, BXBS, Tricare, etc),
private pay, Medicaid, Medicare, and Colorado Access.
We provide services in the clinic, daycare programs and home.
We have minimal paperwork and do very little formal testing.
Therapists love it!
We have great benefits (United Health Care and AFLAC, etc).
In addition, you set your own schedule, days off, vacation time, etc so a 5 day ski weekend is not frowned upon.

Part-Time Position (20 - 30 Hours per week)

We are an acute care facility providing care and therapy services for medically complex patients.
Our speech therapist must be a specialist in human communications, including normal development
and deficits in communication.
Thorough knowledge and training in the anatomy and physiology of a normal swallow,
as well as dysphagia, is also required.
Work responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of physician referrals for patients with disorders,
or suspected disorders, of speech, language, cognition or swallowing.
This individual must work as a member of a transdisciplinary team with other professionals
to provide optimum patient care.
They must have the expertise and communication skills necessary to provide education, relative to speech
and associated disorders, through in-services in the community when necessary.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communications Disorders required.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and BCLS certification required.
ACLS certification preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience in hospital setting required.
Experience with dysphagia patients preferred.
